Minecraft PE 0.15.0 Beta 1

The developers of the mobile version of Minecraft Pocket Edition have released a fresh version for Android devices. In the new version, players will find a huge list of innovations! New mobs, new items and blocks, generation of new dungeons and much more!

This is the first beta build of Minecraft PE 0.15.0 so far, so there may be bugs and crashes, but all this will be fixed in the next builds.

In the meantime, let's take a quick look at what has changed.

Interface

The interface of the main menu has been significantly changed. Now it looks much nicer and is similar to a PC. Now your skin is displayed on the right side, over which the player's nickname is written. There is a button for "Achievements" and "Login to profile", and you can also change your skin using the new interface, which opens using the button that is below the skin.

If you click on this "Hangers" button, you will go to the skins interface. The interface has been completely redesigned and looks much better than before. Here you can also choose a new skin, a small window "Recent skins" has appeared.

Each paid skin pack now has its own window, in which there is a small preview logo.

By logging into your profile Xbox you will get access to achievements, which are enough in the game. The achievements window displays the number of points received from achievements, the number of open achievements and the time spent in the game.

The worlds selection menu has also been changed and looks almost the same as in Windows 10 Edition.

In the "pause" window of the game, new buttons have also been added: "Invite a player" and "Achievements". You can invite your friends to play with you using Xbox Live.

Mobs

In the new version of MCPE, as in the first snapshots of PC version 1.10, a new mob was added - Skeleton Hermit. Looks like an ordinary skeleton, but he is wearing shabby clothes. And here's some information about him:

Found in cold biomes, hostile
Shoots arrows with the effect of Slowing Down I for 30 seconds
When killing them, bones, arrows and sometimes arrows fall out of them to Slow down.
Technically, it is a skeleton with the SkeletonType NBT tag set to 2 (0 is a normal skeleton, 1 is a Wither Skeleton).

Also in the new version there will be a new kind of zombie Husk (Sand Zombie). This mob was also added to the first snapshot of the PC version and added to 0.15.0 beta. It differs in that it does not burn in the sun and is found in hot biomes, such as desert, savannah, etc. Brief information about it:

On impact, in addition to damage, it causes the effect of Hunger I (the duration of the effect depends on the complexity).

Horse

Well, finally, after a long time, the developers decided to add horses to the game on which you can travel through the endless game world =)

The pocket version will have one exclusive thing for horses - leather armor. It is also worth noting the fact that such armor can be painted with a boiler and dyes. Isn't it cool?

Conventional and sticky pistons

This is another of the main features that many players have been waiting for several years, but now it is in MCPE! Pistons have finally appeared in the game, now you don't have to install buggy mods.

Pig riding

By putting a saddle on a pig and getting a fishing rod with a carrot, you can ride a pig! This is very useful for long-distance travel!

Temple in the jungle

Now, if you go into the jungle, you will be able to stumble upon a temple in which you can also find a chest with things, like in a temple in the desert. But be careful! There are traps in this temple that can kill you!
