The developers have released a new beta version of Minecraft 1.19.40.21 for Android. This update includes 12 gameplay changes and 5 bug fixes. Players can now sink into Soul Sand and Mud — be careful, you might drown!
Vanilla Parity
- Sweet Berries can now be planted on Farmland
- Bubble column strength has been adjusted to match Java Edition
- The collision of Grass Paths and Farmland has been reduced by one pixel
- Ravager movement speed has been increased
- The Ravager hitbox has been expanded
Bug Fixes
- Fixed various issues with the touch interface
- Underwater fog no longer disappears in Spectator Mode
- Players now sink into Soul Sand and Mud
- Evoker fangs now deal damage to Ravagers
- Mud no longer obstructs the screen when swimming through it
- Projectiles no longer shake constantly when stuck in Mud
- Fish, Frogs, and Tadpoles now pathfind properly on Mud blocks
