Minecraft Beta 1.8.0.8 - What's New?

Although the developers were a whole week late with this version, they still released it, and now the game has a long-awaited feature - creating your own mobs!

New Features:

• Pandas!
• Stray cats now appear in villages
  • Use fish to tame a cat
  • Ocelots can no longer be tamed
  • Ocelots can be fed
• Bamboo can be caught with a fishing rod in jungle rivers and lakes, and also found in some chests (natural generation will come later)
• New block - Scaffolding!
• Add-ons now allow you to create your own mobs, particles, and animations

Changes:

• If cats are near you, Phantoms will not attack
• Increased size of tropical fish
• Skeleton horse foals and zombie horse foals now have a small chance of appearing when using spawn eggs
• Updated the game loading screen
• The following commands can now be used without enabling cheats:
  /gamerule showcoordinates
  /gamerule dofiretick
  /gamerule tntexplodes
  /gamerule domobloot
  /gamerule naturalregeneration
  /gamerule dotiledrops
  /gamerule pvp
• By default, command blocks now have the name "!" instead of "@"
• Added game rule randomTickSpeed
• More skin packs are now displayed on the skin selection screen, and each pack can be viewed on a separate page
• Added a share button to the in-game store

Fixed 57 various bugs.
