Minecraft Beta 1.13.0.2 - What's New?
The new beta version Minecraft Beta 1.13.0.2 fixes various issues from the previous test version and other problems discovered by players.
Bug fixes:
- Crashes/Performance
- Fixed a crash on some iOS devices when the player tried to download multiple packs from the in-game store simultaneously.
- Fixed low performance when using elytra in the End dimension.
- Fixed a crash when villagers tried to find a path.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when exiting the game after a multiplayer session.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when joining a server.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when using a Phantom spawn egg on a mob spawner.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when loading into ocean monuments.
- General
- Fixed hand movement in Oculus Rift.
- Fixed text-to-speech errors.
- Chat instructions no longer appear every time after going through a portal.
- Fixed spacing between some menu buttons.
- Fixed sneaking while sleeping.
- Fixed positions of some held items.
- Fixed item placement in hand for various skins from the in-game store.
- Fixed sword position for zombie pigmen.
- Fixed camera position while sleeping.
- Fixed elytra position for various skins from the in-game store when using non-standard human models.
- Structure block in load mode now has options to include entities and remove blocks.
- Players will no longer lose items when moving a stack of items in the cartography table.
- Fixed spacing for some characters.
- Fixed hand position when switching from an item to an empty slot in first-person mode.
- Adjusted hand position for players holding maps for some skins from the in-game store with short and long arms.
- Fixed an issue with Education Edition where the game logo changed in the main menu and pause menu.
- Gameplay
- Fixed an issue where chunks were not loading in Realms or local worlds.
- Fixed an issue where the player could get stuck on the loading screen when trying to join a world or using a Nether portal.
- Leaves obtained with Silk Touch now stack correctly in inventory.
- Parrots now sit correctly on the player's shoulder.
- Jukeboxes now stop playing music after being destroyed.
- The Wither's health bar no longer disappears after the player leaves the game.
- Fixed bed crafting.
- Connecting to a Realm world now loads the Realm interface instead of the standard one.
- Fixed an issue where using a Nether portal could teleport the player to a random location in the dimension if they were eating food.
- Mobs
- Foxes no longer run away from sneaking players.
- Fixed fox taming; they no longer run away.
- Foxes now move at the same speed in Bedrock and Java Edition.
- Added a blue back effect from charged creepers for Wither armor.
- Foxes no longer become tamed if the player is holding food.
- Feeding two red foxes in a snowy biome now results in a red fox cub.
- Fixed fox sleeping.
- Foxes no longer drown while trying to catch and eat fish.
- Villagers can now properly reach their workstations.
- Trusting foxes now correctly lose their aggression after revenge.
- Blocks
- Horizontal wooden blocks now drop the correct block version.
- TNT can now be crafted from red sand.
- Interface
- Fixed duplicate "Sign In" messages that overlapped.
- Removed duplicate content loading bar.
- Add-ons and Script Engine
- Blocks no longer hang while falling when using getBlocks.
- Ticking areas now have a property showing whether they are fully loaded or not.
- Custom ridden entities now show the correct action prompt when added.
