Suspicious Blocks

To make the game Minecraft even more exciting and mysterious, the developers added Suspicious Blocks of gravel and sand to the sandbox. Both blocks are quite fragile and easy to find among Overworld structures. To get to the useful items hidden inside them, you should use a special archaeological brush.

Outwardly, they are recognized by their texture, which differs from similar blocks.

Suspicious and normal blocks

How to Find?

Places where you can find suspicious sand blocks:

  • In a desert temple
  • In an abandoned well
  • Among warm ocean ruins

Places where you can find suspicious gravel blocks:

  • Among cold ocean ruins
  • Among trail ruins

In Creative mode, blocks can be obtained through the inventory and have the following features:

  • Blocks placed from the creative inventory or by command have no loot
  • A suspicious block with loot can be copied using Ctrl + Pick Block (middle mouse button)

Naturally Generated

Some features to note in Survival mode:

  • Suspicious gravel and sand are difficult to mine; normal methods won't work as they are too fragile
  • The blocks will break instantly if touched by usual tools or if you try to move them
  • After the player cleans the block and retrieves the item, it turns into a normal block

Trail Ruins

Features

To properly extract items from blocks and use them, it is important to know some information:

  • When cleaning the block with a brush from all sides, you can see cracks appear, and then the hidden item emerges
  • It takes 96 ticks (4.8 seconds) to extract the item
  • After extracting the item, the blocks turn into their normal variants
  • An incomplete cleaning will return the item after a few seconds
  • Hidden items can only be extracted from blocks that were naturally generated

How to Clean a Suspicious Block?

For this, you need to use the Brush. In Creative mode, it is in the inventory; in Survival mode, it can be crafted from a Feather, a Copper Ingot, and a Stick.

Block Loot

The item stored in the block directly depends on the structure in which it is located and generated.

It is important to know that only one item drops from a block. The chance of finding an item varies by structure, and the most valuable item is the Sniffer Egg.

Advancements

An interesting advancement, Careful Restoration, is available. Upon unlocking it, you can obtain the 'Ceramic Camouflage' item for your character. To get it, you need to obtain a pottery shard by cleaning suspicious blocks.

Спасибо за полезную статью! Хотелось бы в этом руководстве увидеть информацию о нахождении структур которые в которых находятся данные подозрительные блоки.
