Seed: Igloo and Snowy Village

The Igloo is a new structure that appeared in the recent Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.17.0 update. Igloos exist in real life, too—after all, they are the traditional winter dwellings of the Inuit. In the game, this spot can not only provide shelter at night, but it also contains a basement with some nice surprises.

How to find the igloo?

The spawn point is located at the edge of an Ice Spikes biome. Head up the hill and then go around the ice spikes as shown in the screenshot below; you will soon reach the igloo and the snowy village.

The igloo is located slightly to the right of the snowy village.

But first, let's take a look at the blacksmith's chest in the snowy village. What's inside?

• 1 Iron Helmet
• 1 Iron Chestplate
• 1 Iron Leggings

These are incredibly useful resources for starting your survival journey in MCPE. There is also plenty of food here.

Igloos are a brand-new feature in Minecraft Pocket Edition.

Here’s what it looks like inside. There is a bed, a crafting table, a redstone torch, and a furnace.

Some igloos (though not all) have a basement. Break the carpet to find a trapdoor leading downstairs.

Downstairs, you will find one villager and one zombie villager trapped in cages. In the chest, you will find the following items:

• 7 Apples
• 1 Rotten Flesh
• 1 Golden Apple
