Minecraft 1.2.3 Beta 1 - What's New?
Just yesterday, the Minecraft 1.2.2 update came out, and the developers have already released a new beta - 1.2.3 Beta Build 1. This update is currently only available for Android, but will soon be released for Windows 10 and Xbox One.
What's new in the game? Nothing really, the update is focused solely on bug fixes. It's quite possible that something new will appear in future test versions.
Changelog:
- Fixed a crash when loading chunks.
- Fixed a crash when using the crafting window.
- Fixed a crash that occurred when a player went through a portal and then with a sticky piston.
- Fixed a crash due to iron golems on converted worlds.
- Fixed a crash when using the /fill command.
- The "Beginning" achievement can now be unlocked on all platforms.
- Players can no longer be attacked by mobs while the world or dimension is loading.
- The fire resistance effect will now properly protect players after leaving and returning to the world.
- Fixed a transparency issue with some skins.
- Pressing the "A" button no longer cancels elytra flight (gamepad).
- Servers will no longer appear in the Friends tab.
- Heavy blocks will no longer break when falling on leaves.
- Sheep no longer make two sounds when dying.
- Items replaced by a command now instantly appear in the inventory.
- Pumpkins and mob heads can now be equipped directly from the creative mode inventory.
- Players with fire resistance will now take damage from lightning.
- Doors, wooden buttons, ladders, and fishing rods can now be used as fuel in furnaces.
- Leaves with snow on top will no longer appear black.
- Mob heads can now be placed on the ground if there is a layer of snow on it.
- Fixed the spawning of guardians in underwater fortresses.
