Minecraft 1.2.2: What's New?
The latest update for Minecraft - 1.2.2 has been released. This update not only focuses on bug fixes but also adds a ton of new (paid) content to the in-game store.
On the Minecraft Marketplace, a lot of new content from community creators has appeared! For example, 4 new worlds: "Silvermist" by Pathway Studios, "Wizard's Abode" by Imagiverse, "Forbidden Forest" by Blockception, and "Abstraction: GRID" by Jigarbov. And if you like adventure maps, you'll find: "Wild Nature: Savannah" by PixelHeads and "Autumn Mini-Game Festival" by Noxcrew. Also available are new skin packs from creators like Toyaplays, Pathway Studios, Mineplex, 57 Digital, and Noxcrew.

A lot of effort has also been put into fixing all those bugs you report on bugs.mojang.com. We'll list some of them here.
- Fixed an issue with sheep ready to be sheared in converted worlds.
- Fixed numerous crash bugs.
- The recipe book will no longer say you don't have ingredients when you actually do.
- The "Mending" enchantment now works correctly on fishing rods.
- Eggs you throw at other players now knock them back on hit.
You can download the new version as always from our website on a special page - Download Minecraft 1.2.2.
