MCPE turns 5 years old and new update trailer!
Unbelievably, but Minecraft Pocket Edition turned five years old today, December 1st! What a long journey we've been through together! From the very beginning, the MC:PE version was little more than an experiment, created by one person and mega-coder Aron Nieminen. The first version of the game was incredibly raw, but was developed in just three months.
Since then, Minecraft PE has become one of the most popular mobile games, with over 40 million players worldwide! And after five whole years, we received one of the biggest updates - Ender Update, version number 1.0. Now you will face the final boss of the game: the Ender Dragon.
But don't be afraid or disappointed! This is not the final version of the game. The developers plan to add everything that is currently available in the PC version of Minecraft.
In honor of the major update and the end of 2016, the developers have prepared a new amazing trailer for everyone, in which you will see all the features of the 1.0 update.
