Minecraft's world editor mode was leaked!

Well-known insider Roger Badgerman shared a video with a demonstration of the Minecraft Bedrock Worlds Editor mode, which is currently in development.

The editor will be built right into Minecraft, allowing players to edit their worlds. For example, it will have such functions as selection of area, copying, cutting, pasting, brush.

In the demonstration from the video, we see only one cube brush, but most likely there will be more of them.

Presently, it is unknown whether the developers are going to provide access to the editor to all players or only certain ones (for example, content creators for the Market).

Many note that in this way, developers are trying to catch up with Roblox and be ready for the release of a possible competitor - Hytale (the release date remains unknown).
