Minecraft Beta 1.13.0.5 - What's New?
The developers have published a new beta version of Minecraft Bedrock (PE) 1.13.0.5, which fixes a number of critical bugs and a dozen others related to drops, textures, interface, and more!
Crashes/Performance:
- Fixed some crashes that occurred during gameplay.
- Fixed a crash on Xbox One that could sometimes happen when signing out of Xbox Live.
- Fixed an issue where Android devices sometimes froze during loading.
- Fixed an interaction error with custom entities that caused the game to crash.
- Fixed a crash that sometimes occurred while sleeping.
- Applying a resource pack to a Realm no longer causes the game to freeze.
- Optimized game loading on some Android devices, which also fixes the "App Not Responding" error when trying to enter the game.
Main:
- VR - Fixed interface positions when the player sleeps and gets up. Fixed axe animation.
- Fixed duplicate interface elements in the game store.
Gameplay:
- Armor, weapons, and tools are again available in the recipe book.
- Fixed mob equipment drops.
- Fixed an issue with block breaking when boarding a boat or holding a bow/crossbow.
- Mobs will no longer drop fully repaired items.
- Arrows no longer fly back when shot into the ground.
- Tree foliage no longer gets cut off at chunk borders during world generation.
- Players can no longer push activated TNT.
Mobs:
- Dolphins again follow the player who is sitting in a boat.
- Fixed a movement freezing bug for fish and dolphins.
- Fixed fish texture.
- Fixed elytra model.
Graphics:
- Fixed hand animation when switching items in first-person mode.
- Fixed missing hand in VR.
Interface:
- Fixed oversized interface in the world creation menu.
Add-ons and Script Engine:
- Fixed player entity components (e.g., minecraft:damage_sensor) that were not being added.
- Custom player armor now displays correctly in some worlds from the game store.
