Minecraft Beta 1.13.0.4 - What's New?

The Minecraft Bedrock 1.13.0.4 update is out for Android, Windows 10, and Xbox One! It fixes various bugs and improves game stability.

Crashes/Performance:

• Fixed a crash when quickly placing a structure void
• Fixed a crash when blocking projectiles with a shield
• Fixed a crash that sometimes occurred when approaching a spawn point
• Fixed a crash on Xbox that occurred when switching internet connections
• Improved performance on Xbox with split screen

Main:

• Fixed an issue where minecart rotation did not update with some resource packs
• Fixed an issue when switching to front third-person view
• Fixed player animation positions in sneaking mode
• Players can now properly connect to a world after receiving an invitation
• Nether portals now connect correctly after cloning
• Fixed nausea animation
• Fixed incorrect left arm and leg positions
• Split-screen players can only join if they have a corresponding controller
• Fixed inventory of purchased items in the in-game store when switching users
• Fixed rotation in player animation when attacking
• Broken elytra texture is used again
• The '/clear' command now works correctly with broken items
• Global resource packs now update when switching to another language
• Throwing animation now plays when charging a trident with the Riptide enchantment
• Fixed running/swimming state when exiting water
• Fixed a purchase error on Oculus Rift
• Fixed a controller issue on Nintendo Switch in TV mode
• Arrows now display correctly on armor stands
• Removed the "Create Realms" button from the beta version

Gameplay:

• Fixed an issue where mobs sometimes disappeared
• Players no longer fall through opening shulker boxes and pistons
• Blocks/items smelted in a furnace can now be used for crafting again
• Buttons can now be crafted again via the recipe book

Mobs:

• Adult villagers can now sleep in beds if there are low ceilings above them
• Removed the 'moveToVillage' behavior from foxes to match the Java Edition
• Mobs can now enter minecarts and boats again
• Dolphins can jump again
• Zombies no longer get stuck on doors
• Fixed the animation speed of dancing parrots
• Fixed parrot flight
• Dolphins now follow players who are sitting in boats again

Graphics:

• Fixed cloud darkening
• Fixed water rendering on some servers
• Fixed flame height when the player is on fire
• Several blocks no longer turn black when moved by pistons
• Using '/fill' and '/clone' with glass blocks now works correctly

User Interface:

• Fixed an issue where it was impossible to turn with arrow keys when using full keyboard mode
• Removed the "Accessibility" button from the world creation screen

Add-Ons and Script Engine:

• Players can now attack ducks in the MINECON 2018 Pack add-on again
• Fixed particle positioning
• Fixed 'minecraft:load_ui' in the scripting API
• Fixed horse positions and rotation in some packs
• Timer component now works on vanilla projectiles
• 'minecraft:spell_effects' no longer triggers a second timer
• Fixed the non-working 'must_see_forget_duration' component
• Invisible End Rods (variant #6) are now invisible again in various in-game store maps
