Minecraft Beta 1.11.0.8 - What's New?

No new features are visible in the latest versions of Minecraft Bedrock. It seems that developers are preparing for the release of the "Village & Pillage" update.

Bug fixes:

• Improved performance when opening the inventory
• Fixed a crash when some entities, such as experience orbs, touched a bell
• Fixed a crash when using a crafting table in Creative mode
• Fixed a crash when spawning a Vile Spider from the Minecon 2018 add-on
• Sneezing pandas no longer cause the game to crash
• Fixed a crash on Gear VR that could occur when pausing the game
• Fixed an issue where the game could freeze when pressing the "Save and Quit" button
• Fixed a crash when using Bedrock Dedicated Server
• Fixed a crash that could occur when viewing skin packs owned by the player
• Fixed a crash when the text-to-speech converter tried to read a special character
• General game performance improvements
• The text-to-speech converter now only works while in Minecraft
• The text-to-speech converter no longer stops working if too many punctuation marks are used
• Updated the tooltip text for the text-to-speech converter
• The text-to-speech converter now correctly reads dialog boxes during world generation
• Additional improvements to world saving to prevent worlds from disappearing from the list
• Worlds should no longer hang on the "Generating World" screen when the player is in the End dimension
• If the player exits and re-enters a world during a raid, the boss bar no longer disappears, and the "Hero of the Village" effect can be obtained
• Raids will no longer spawn waves while the player is flying
• Reintroduced a bug where the player falls at coordinates ~65,000 blocks on X and Z. This bug requires more time to fully fix.
• Skeleton horses can now be ridden again if they were spawned in previous versions of the game
• Removed the distance limit for phantom spawning
• Portal blocks can no longer be obtained as items using the 'setblock' command
• Fixed cloud appearance
• Fixed an issue where applying an effect would play animations for all previously applied effects
• Some other fixes and improvements
