Minecraft Beta 1.8.0.10 - What's New?

Quite unexpectedly, a new beta version of Minecraft Bedrock numbered 1.8.0.10 was released. The new version doesn't just fix bugs, but adds several interesting new features and a number of changes!

Experimental Gameplay:

• Crossbow and three new enchantments:
  • Multishot
  • Piercing
  • Quick Charge

Changes:

• Panda improvements
  • Pandas can now be fed by hand
  • New sounds added for pandas
  • If a panda is angry or scared of you and you give it bamboo, it will now sit and eat it
  • Increased damage from angry pandas
  • Pandas now drop bamboo if they have it in their inventory
• Added crafting recipe for packed ice
• Added sounds for scaffolding
• Content can now be sorted by "available updates" in the inventory of purchased items in the game store
• Content can now be sorted and filtered by rating in the game store
• Information about scaffolding can now be found in the How to Play menu

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed some crashes
• Fixed crash when using spawn eggs of multiple mobs on a mob spawner
• Fixed crash when opening the beacon screen
• Fixed a crash that occurred when loading a world or starting the game in some languages
• Fixed a crash that occurred when hovering the mouse over a renamed firework star
• Fixed crash when splitting screen on Xbox One
• Scaffolding now burns in lava
• Scaffolding will no longer flicker
• Player will no longer fall through scaffolding when pressing the sneak button
• Baby pandas now have idle sounds
• Health boost and absorption effects no longer have the same icon
• Fixed a number of other bugs

The crossbow is only available with the Experimental Gameplay option enabled!
