Minecraft 1.2.13: Out of Testing!
This update adds a new world option — the "Experimental Gameplay" toggle. With it, you can try out new, but not yet fully implemented features from the Update Aquatic, safely isolated in a separate world file.
Currently, only part of the Update Aquatic features are available — the rest will be added in the future. Note: once enabled, Experimental Gameplay cannot be disabled, otherwise you may encounter world issues. This world option is not considered cheating, so you will continue to earn achievements if they are enabled in your world. These features are not final and may change with the game's release.
You can create a new world with Experimental Gameplay or enable it in an existing one. In the latter case, a copy of the world will be created with the EX prefix. Gameplay from this world is NOT transferred to the original world — everything stays in the EX world, where the new features are enabled. Other players can join it (and you can join their worlds): no world file with Experimental Gameplay enabled is required for that.

New Features:
- Realms now creates automatic backups that can be downloaded and restored.
- Added two options to swap the A/B buttons and X/Y buttons on controllers.
- Added the on-screen animation feature, which can be disabled in video settings.
Changes
- Many screens and actions now respond when a button is pressed, not released.
- The block system in the game has been changed, allowing for practically infinite blocks! Thanks to this change, blocks no longer have IDs.
- Falling on a hay bale deals less damage.
- Purchased skin packs now appear at the top of the list.
- Realms member lists can now be cleared on the members screen.
- The appearance has been updated and a search function added to easily find specific content.
Experimental Gameplay:
The following features are only available when the Experimental Gameplay option is enabled, which can be activated when creating a world or editing an existing one.

Features available when this option is activated:
- Drowned.
- Trident and new enchantments: Loyalty, Impaling, Riptide, Channeling.
- Stripped logs.
- Stairs and slabs for prismarine, prismarine bricks, and dark prismarine.
- Swimming animation.
Over 200 bugs were also fixed!
Remember, this update does not add all the functionality from the "Update Aquatic"!
