Minecraft 1.20.71.01

The developers have released Minecraft 1.20.71.01 update. The new version brings us some new content from the next major update, makes some changes for equality with the Java edition and fixes various bugs. More details below and on the developers' website.

On some platforms the version is shown as 1.20.70, there is no difference between the two.

Experimental

  • Wind Charge

  • Vault
• The collars of tamed Wolves have been increased in size, making them visible not only from the front but also from other angles

Changes

• Added 4K resolution support for Xbox Series consoles
• The maximum health of tamed wolves has been increased from 20 to 40
  
  • Already tamed Wolves must be tamed to apply the changes
• Wolf's regenerating health from feeding has been doubled
• Updated the Globe pattern on Shields to match Java Edition
• Spawn Eggs are now called "[Mob] Spawn Egg" instead of "Spawns [Mob]" so that players can more easily search for them in the Creative mode inventory
• End Portal Frame has been moved to Nature category in the Creative mode inventory
• Updated the Realms Plus landing page to make it more clear how Realms subscriptions work
