Minecraft 26.30.29 [Beta]

Developers have released Minecraft 26.30.29 test version for Android. This update makes sulfur spikes grow over time, updates sulfur and cinnabar block textures to match Java Edition, improves sulfur cube physics with new archetypes, adjusts mob spawn rates in sulfur caves, and fixes over 40 bugs.

Changes

• Sulfur Caves:
  • Added unique grass color for sulfur caves.
  • Now spawn more sulfur pools.
  • Adjusted mob spawn rates:
    • Creepers: spawn less frequently, always in groups of 2.
    • Skeletons: spawn less frequently, always in groups of 2.
    • Sulfur Cubes: spawn in groups of 2-4.
    • Witches: spawn less frequently.
    • Zombies: spawn less frequently, always in groups of 2.
    • Cave Spiders replace regular Spiders.
  • Reduced amount of Glow Lichen to match other caves.
  • Sulfur Caves exposed to the surface now generate with all features.
• Potent Sulfur:
  • Propelled entities now travel slightly higher.
  • Eruption particles now travel slightly higher.
  • Eruption particles are no longer blocked as easily by surrounding blocks.
  • Noxious Gas particles now darken based on surrounding light levels.
  • Can no longer be moved by Pistons or Sticky Pistons.
  • Naturally generated Sulfur Springs now always produce geysers.
• Sulfur Cubes:
  • No longer seek blocks at excessive distances.
  • Vertical bounce physics now work correctly.
  • No longer pick up multiple items simultaneously.
  • No longer float in air after absorbing a block that should make them sink.
  • Improved server performance when many cubes are clustered.
  • Can now spawn in tight 1x1 block spaces.
  • With an absorbed block, no longer push player-controlled mounts.
  • "Fast flat" archetype now sinks in water.
  • "Hot" archetype (with magma) now has regular physics properties.
  • Now receive angled knockback when hit with enchanted weapons or sprint attacks.
  • Landing sound after jump now plays again.
  • With absorbed magma, no longer damage Netherite armor.
  • Shields do not protect against magma damage.
  • Fire Resistance potion now protects against magma damage.
  • Added death message for being killed by a Sulfur Cube with magma.
  • With absorbed TNT, can be ignited by magma or another "hot" cube.
  • With an absorbed block, now immune to Poison effect.
• Sulfur and Cinnabar block textures have been updated.
• Chiseled Sulfur and Chiseled Cinnabar can no longer be crafted by stonecutting Polished Sulfur and Cinnabar Bricks.
• Sulfur Spikes now grow over time.
• Geysers now have unique sounds when continuously erupting.
• Locator Bar toggle replaced with Player Waypoints setting with "Off" (no players shown) and "Everyone" (all players shown) options.
• Added support for new Marketplace content cards.
• Added hardcore icon and border in Realms Hub Slots section.

Bug Fixes

• Leaving the game in split-screen mode no longer causes a crash.
• Resizing the game window during initial loading on Windows no longer causes a crash.
• Clearing Realm members via "Clear All Members" no longer causes a crash.
• Accepting an invite while loading no longer causes a crash.
• Custom Nether biomes no longer generate with repeating tiling patterns across chunk boundaries.
• Importing a skin on Android without enough space now shows the correct error.
• Lake placement now correctly breaks above the surface.
• The game no longer sends excessive web requests.
• Vibrant Visuals shadows and reflections now render on PlayStation 4.
• Loot table containers now correctly merge partial stacks when inserting new items.
• Marketplace screen no longer throws an assert error.
• Opening a furnace without recipes no longer freezes.
• Pack content now visually resets immediately when resetting the world.
• Fixed /camerashake add changing shake types of previously added events.
• Added missing suggestions for commands after '/execute run setblock'.
• Coin icon now appears on all Marketplace offers.
• Fixed player spawn position when rejoining a world after their previously saved custom dimension becomes inactive.
• TNT now has smoke particles when ignited.
• Removed duplicate author label in the skin info panel in the dressing room.
• Removed reference to nonexistent clark.ogg sound asset.
