Minecraft 1.21.100

The developers have released the full version of Minecraft 1.21.100.6. The new update adds the Copper Golem, copper chests, tools, and armor, along with various changes and bug fixes.

Copper Golem

• Summoned using Copper and a Carved Pumpkin.
• Drops 1 to 3 copper ingots upon death.
• Helps sort items into chests.
• Copper Golem item sorting:
  • If not holding an item, searches for nearby copper chests to pick up an item.
  • Searches all oxidized and waxed copper chest variants.
  • Can pick up a maximum of 16 items in a stack at a time.
  • Can pick up any item from a copper chest.
  • If the golem is holding an item, it looks for nearby chests to try to place the item inside.
  • Searches regular and trapped chests to place the item.
  • Can place an item in a chest if it's empty, or if it contains the same type of item it’s holding.
  • Checks up to 10 chests or copper chests in a row to pick up or place an item.
  • If no suitable chest is found, it will idle for 7 seconds before trying again.
  • Chest search radius:
    • Horizontally – 32 blocks.
    • Vertically – 8 blocks.

Copper Chest

• 2 variants: Waxed and Oxidized.
• Oxidizes over time.
• Can be waxed.
• Crafted from a regular chest and copper ingots.
• You can get one by summoning a Copper Golem.

Copper Tools

• Crafted and repaired with copper ingots.
• Same damage as stone, but higher durability.
• Faster than stone, but slower than iron.
• Higher enchantability than diamond, but slightly lower than iron.
• Do not oxidize.

Copper Armor

• Durability higher than leather, but lower than iron.
• Enchantability slightly lower than iron.
• Does not oxidize.

Changes

Many changes. Highlights:

• UI buttons are now narrated by the screen reader when adding a new server.
• Sugar cane clusters are now slightly transparent when the camera passes through them.
• Increased volume of the Happy Ghast ride sound.
• Leashes now emit their breaking sound from the leash holder’s location, not the leashed entity.
• The ambient sound interval for animals and ghasts is now 6 and 4 seconds, respectively.
• Icebergs in Frozen Ocean biomes now generate as in Java.
• Copper equipment can be smelted into copper nuggets.
• Added option to change cloud quality in settings.
• Trees generate more sparsely in Groves.
• Trees generate more frequently in Snowy Plains.

Bug Fixes

Bug fixes from beta versions have been ported.
