Map: 10 Piston Creations
Pistons are two new redstone mechanism blocks added in the new version of Minecraft PE 0.15. Pistons can push blocks (and pull if using sticky pistons) and are activated by a redstone signal. This map features 10 different mechanisms using pistons.
Here is a piston trap. After the player steps on a pressure plate, a hole opens in the ground. This could cost them their life if they are running =)
And here is a hidden staircase that can be turned on and off with a lever.
This door is much safer than a regular wooden door, as it can only be opened with one of the buttons found on each side of the door.
The fence gate door is perfect for medieval-style builds or if you for some reason want to be able to see through the door.
Besides these four mechanisms, there are six more that you can discover in the game!
Installing the 10 Piston Creations map:
- Download the map archive from the link below
- Extract the folder from the archive into /games/com.mojang/MinecraftWorlds/
- The map is installed, enjoy the game!
