Ocean Monument [Minecraft PE Guides]

As many know, the Minecraft Pocket Edition update introduced ocean monuments, which can be found deep in the ocean. If you don't know anything about ocean monuments, this guide is for you! But it will also be useful for experienced players.

So, as we said, ocean monuments can be found deep in the ocean biome.

This monument consists of the following blocks:

Prismarine

Dark Prismarine

Prismarine Bricks

Sea Lantern

Gold Block

Wet Sponge

But that's not all, because the monument has many rooms, most of which serve no purpose except one - the main one. In the main room, there is a clearly visible 8×8×8 cube made of various prismarine blocks, behind which are 8 gold blocks. That's the main reward, so to speak.

The monument is guarded by Guardians and Elder Guardians:

As you can see, it's very easy to get lost in the monument. And since playing on mobile devices isn't very convenient, you can die quickly and lose all your resources.

In some rooms of the ocean monument, wet sponges also spawn.

Remember, if at least one Elder Guardian is alive, you will be inflicted with Mining Fatigue III. This effect prevents you from mining gold and sponges.

To see the ocean floor better, you can drink a Potion of Night Vision. You can find the monument by its glow, or by using special seeds - MCPE seeds.
