Seed: Mountain Ridge

You spawn in the middle of a snowy forest, with an imposing mountain rising to the right of the spawn point. Climb to the top and it becomes clear that this isn't a lone peak at all, but a long ridge stretching off into the distance, with a smaller summit tucked in beside it. A ruined portal waits for you on the way down, so the road to the Nether opens up almost right away.

The slopes themselves are generous with ore, and at the foot of the mountain lies a snowy spruce forest that makes a convenient spot to settle in for the long haul.
