Minecraft 1.2.9 - What's New?
The new Minecraft: Bedrock Edition update for Android, iOS, Windows 10, and Xbox One brings a long-awaited change! Now you no longer need to enable the "Cheats" option to get coordinates! With update 1.2.9, you can use coordinate display in your world, as well as configure fire spread, TNT explosion, mob loot, tile drops, and natural regeneration without disabling Xbox Live achievements. In addition, several bugs have been fixed.

Tweaks:
- Coordinate display, fire spread, TNT explosion, mob loot, tile drops, and natural regeneration are no longer considered cheats
- Increased animal spawn rate to make them easier to find
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed crashes when signing into Xbox Live on Android devices.
- Fixed a crash when moving items in beacons and enchantment tables using the interface.
- Creepers are fixed again and will no longer explode while walking or after losing sight of players.
- Safe zone screen settings are now available in both vertical and horizontal orientations, adjustable separately on each platform.
- Blocks can now be placed sequentially while sneaking.
- Mobs will properly follow players holding their favorite food.
- Wither skeletons will once again spawn in Nether fortresses.
- Passive mobs will again spawn in new areas.
