Minecraft 1.2.1: What's New?
After the release of Minecraft 1.2, it became clear that a bug-fix version would be coming soon, since that update was very large and brought a ton of bugs. And now, the developers have released the fresh version 1.2.1.

New Features:
- Added a cursor for navigating the inventory when playing with a gamepad
Twists:
- Added a white outline for selected slots and recipes in the inventory
- Adjusted block placement speed when using a gamepad
Bug Fixes:
- Made several fixes for gamepads when navigating settings screens, creating new worlds, and editing worlds
- Improved performance on third-party servers
- Fixed a crash caused by rendering issues
- Fixed the recipe book search
- Minecart with command block will now collide with other blocks
- Fixed sliders in settings
- Fixed rocket volume
- Mobs will no longer play sound effects twice when spawning into the world
- Fixed a missing sound effect when combining two items on an anvil
- Fixed empty inventory in Creative mode when playing on third-party servers
- No longer need to scroll the list to see Adventure mode when selecting game mode
- Global resources list will now correctly update after closing settings
- And over 30 other fixes!
