Minecraft PE 1.2: New Multiplayer Features
There's very little time left before the release of the first test version of Minecraft PE 1.2, and the developers are slowly starting to update information on their official website Minecraft.Net.
In the MCPE 1.2 "Better Together" update, players on mobile devices, Windows 10, and consoles will have more opportunities for multiplayer gaming via local network, shared worlds, Realms, and servers.
By logging into your Xbox Live account, you will get access to the game's multiplayer.

Xbox Live is a social network for gamers with free registration and does not require an Xbox console. By creating an account, you can set your own player tag (nickname).
Starting with the "Better Together" update, you must have your own player tag, whether it's for Realms, an official partner server, or a third-party server via IP address.
Of course, if you're playing over a local network (LAN), you won't need to log into an account.
The world administrator will be able to quickly set permissions for individual players. For example, you can disable a player's ability to dig or attack other players.

Never share your account password with others, as it contains your personal information.
Do not trust strangers who ask for your account information or personal details, promising coins or other content in return. Currently, there is no way to transfer coins to other players.
Additionally, word filters will appear in the chat and on official partner servers to make them friendly for players of all ages. Thus, the developers are not just adding new features, but also caring about the players.
