Minecraft Release 1.8.0 - What's New?

The developers have published the release version of Minecraft Bedrock 1.8,

Changelog 1.8:

New features:

• Pandas!
  • Can be found in jungles
  • Love bamboo
  • Have black and white coloring and a very rare brownish coloring
  • Are divided into sad, happy, aggressive and playful
• Cats (felines)
  • Ocelots can no longer be tamed
  • Can be found in villages
  • A black cat appears in the witch's hut
  • At midnight in a village, a black cat with orange eyes may appear

  • Lightning will no longer strike blocks in cold biomes
  • Players will no longer teleport when standing next to certain blocks (e.g., fences) after reloading the game
  • Fixed rare enchantments that were too difficult to obtain at higher levels
  • Potion of Slow Falling now slows falling when using elytra
  • While in a boat, the map marker now indicates the correct direction
  • Player will no longer look sideways when sitting in a boat
  • Fixed block drops when exploding in Creative mode
