Minecraft PE: New Modding Capabilities!
Just a little while remains before the release of the first test version of Minecraft Pocket Edition 1.2, and Mojang employees are holding various streams showcasing new features in the upcoming version of the game.
Apologies for the quality of the screenshots below!
In addition to new items, blocks, and bug fixes, new modding capabilities will also appear!
Back at Minecon 2016, the developers promised to introduce a new technology into the game: plugins. Plugins will be created in the C# programming language and will have more features than regular add-ons.
For example, you'll be able to create your own mob, give it a specific model, and set its spawn point only in certain biomes. Or, you'll be able to create your own block or item and give it a crafting recipe.

This is really cool and opens up new possibilities for the game. We've been waiting for this for a long time, and now we won't need any BlockLauncher, because such mods can be installed on Android, iOS, Windows 10, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch!
Minecraft PE 1.2 will also add many new commands!

I don't want to disappoint people who have already started coming up with ideas for their future mods, but plugins may not appear in MCPE 1.2, since the developers themselves haven't talked about them before, so we'll have to wait for the game's release or the next version.
