Minecraft Pocket Edition 1.0.5: New Beta or Release?
A new preview build of Minecraft Pocket Edition 1.0.5 has been released on Google Play, which should be Beta 3, but there are no beta labels in the game anymore, and in the store the game version is 1.0.5.11.
What is it? A release or just another new beta build of MCPE? Let's first find out what was added and changed in the new version.
The first thing that stands out is that there is no beta label in the new version.
In the MCPE store, you'll find a new skin pack: "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers". Interestingly, the movie of the same name comes out on March 23, and apparently the film company wanted to advertise their movie in one of the most popular mobile games =)
But the most annoying thing in the new build is that the developers still haven't added command blocks and command block minecarts to the creative inventory. Is it really that hard? Apparently for them it is.
So, is this a release? No, and don't expect MCPE 1.0.5 on Windows 10 and iOS in the next few hours, because looking at the bug tracker, the version is listed as 1.0.5 beta build 3. However, the full changelog is not yet available.
When will the Minecraft PE 1.0.5 release come out? Most likely, the developers are finalizing the last bug fixes and will release it for all platforms at the end of the month.
