Minecraft PE 1.18.0.24

Developers have released a new weekly beta version Minecraft 1.18.0.24. Various bugs have been fixed and changes have been made.

Fixes

• You can place snow, water and lava again continuously by holding the button
  
• Light blocks can no longer be used as support blocks
  
• Mine supports are no longer generated in lava
  
• Mines no longer generate dirt
  
• Fixed a bug that caused some worlds to consume a lot of memory
  
• The hard-leaf no longer changes the color of the water
  
• Fixed a bug with the rendering of the world
  
• Only one item now drops out of the tall flowers when destroyed by water
  
• NPCs in Education Edition no longer have waiting sounds
  
• Fixed the operation of the horus fruit at a negative height
  
• Any vegetation can now be placed on mycelium blocks
  
• Increased chance of axolotls appearing in lush caves
  
• Fish avoid axolotls
  
• Lava Cubes are now aggressive towards Iron Golems
  
• Slugs are no longer aggressive towards Snowmen
  
• Fixed pathfinding for phantoms in the mountains
  
• Ore generation now corresponds to Java Edition
  
• Gravel now properly replaces deep shale during world generation
  
• Gold ore is no longer generated in large quantities in the badlands
  
• Lava sources are no longer generated in frozen oceans
  
• Fixed generation of deep copper ore
  
• Updated names of mountain biomes to match Java Edition
