Minecraft 26.60.24 [Beta]

The developers have released the Minecraft 26.60.24 beta on Android. They fixed sleeping on the Straw Bed, Armor Stand behavior, and the Realms interface. In all, this update brings 10 changes and 21 bug fixes.

This week, due to unexpected build issues, the Preview won't be available on iOS or PlayStation.

Changes

10 changes made. Here's the rundown:

• Screen narration now pauses between the bullet points in the Realms Plan Picker details.
• Progress bars now have at least a 3:1 contrast ratio against the menu background.
• Placing blocks at the world height limit no longer floods the screen with error messages.
• The sky now fades in when night vision and blindness are active at the same time.
• Armor Stands now correctly reject invalid equipment swaps and swap equipped items directly with the ones a player is holding.
• Tamed baby mobs can now be healed by feeding them when they're hurt.
• Sped up adding members via search on the Members screen.
• The Members screen now shows recommended friends.
• In the Realms Hub, added a list of applied packs to the world tab for the player view.
• Vietnamese and Lao combining marks now render without extra spacing or unwanted dotted circles.

Bug Fixes

21 bugs fixed. The highlights:

• Imported custom skins are no longer reset to the default skin after restarting the game.
• Fixed the camera height when sleeping in a Straw Bed.
• Fixed resource packs and the fog command not affecting the fog's start and end distance when the Ender Dragon is dead or far away. While the Dragon is alive and nearby, the fog is still overridden.
• Fixed the texture of Minecarts with Hopper in ray-traced graphics.
• Fixed wireless controllers not working on the world selection screen after leaving a world on Switch.
• Reduced stuttering related to mobs and items across multiple play sessions.
• Fixed a crash when loading worlds with large, densely connected structures of fences, glass panes, iron bars, or walls.
• Improved stability on Nintendo Switch devices connected to a network.
• Fixed an admin seeing themselves in the members list while their actions didn't update until re-entering the Realms Hub.
• Updated the "Invite Player" action text in the admin log and added a player list loading modal on the roles and permissions screen.
• Improved the context readout when exiting text fields.
• Fixed missing label narration for toggles, sliders, input bindings, and button panels in Settings.
• The tag panel in item descriptions is now available even for items without a subgenre or player count (add-ons, skins, textures).
• Graphics mode buttons stay responsive after switching to Vibrant Visuals and adjusting brightness.
• Fixed Arcana glyphs not appearing in Enchanting Table slots.
• The "Gift" button no longer appears for free, unobtainable, or default content.
• Fixed unreadable text in resource packs using legacy custom bitmap fonts, including The Ultimate Survival World.
• The Inbox now finishes loading when categories arrive after the page opens.
