Minecraft 26.60.22/23 [Beta]

The developers have released the Minecraft 26.60.22/23 beta for Android. There are no major additions — they added snappable placement for trapdoors and fixed commands, straw beds, and Realms. In all, this update brings 8 changes and 22 bug fixes.

Changes

8 changes made. Here's the rundown:

• Trapdoors now have snappable placement: holding the place block control while a Trapdoor is selected will only place Trapdoors in a fixed direction until the control is released. During this placement, interaction with blocks is disabled until it's completed.
• Red and Brown Mushrooms can now be placed on any block with a solid top face regardless of lighting. They still can only spread if the brightness at the new spot is below 13, or if the support block overrides light requirements, like Mycelium.
• Wool and Concrete blocks now correctly produce instrument sounds when used with Note blocks.
• The /time command no longer allows setting a negative time value. If adding time or moving to the next day results in a value above the maximum, it evaluates to the equivalent time from the first day.
• Running /time add in worlds that currently have a negative time is now fixed up correctly by adding the result from the first day.
• Improved the initial loading time of Ore UI screens in Beta and Preview builds.
• Added an informational message explaining when "Improved Input Response" is unavailable.
• Updated how received party invites are shown and interacted with in the Social Drawer.

Bug Fixes

22 bugs fixed. The highlights:

• Straw Beds can no longer be placed on blocks occupied by an entity.
• Fixed the Straw Bed reporting missing geometry errors and rendering incorrectly in worlds and templates using a base game version older than 26.50.
• Fixed an extended Piston missing from /clone results when its arm was outside the cloned area, and a piston cloned without its arm destroying itself.
• Regeneration from Axolotls can no longer be stacked infinitely.
• Fixed items disappearing when a Zombie tried to equip multiple items from the ground at once.
• Weaker but longer-lasting effects now correctly resume after a stronger but shorter effect of the same type expires.
• Players no longer stop sneaking when touching water.
• Fixed untranslated text when importing worlds on PlayStation.
• Fixed a crash when adjusting render resolution on PlayStation with high Vibrant Visuals settings.
• Fixed instances of the first input not appearing in the chat window textbox on Android devices.
• The Realms Hub World tab now consistently displays the correct active world size.
• Realm world settings no longer get stuck saving when the connection is interrupted.
• Hardcore worlds are now identified correctly in Realm world slots.
• Dedicated servers now exit cleanly when incompatible allow-list and online-mode settings are configured.
• Improved the alignment and line wrapping of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean text in chat, books, and signs.
• The Command Block screen no longer censors partially typed words while the command is being edited.
• Large worlds can now be duplicated on Switch when there's enough storage available.
• Fixed the Android back button not working in Ore UI.
• Fixed the accordion component not narrating its expanded hint.
• Fixed controller narration problems in various Realms modals, the Realm rate limit modal, and the close button in the moderation feed options modal.
