Minecraft 0.2.1

Minecraft 0.2.1 Alpha introduced new control options, additional blocks, and updated behavior for certain objects, along with visual improvements and bug fixes.

Changes

• A new control option has been added — Split Touch.
  • More convenient for large-screen devices.
  • The crosshair is now positioned on the right side of the screen.
• Bookshelves are now available in Creative mode.
• Sugar cane is now infinite and cannot be harvested.
• Adult pigs now spawn naturally in the world.
• Flight controls have been updated — ascending and descending are now done by swiping from the central button to the up/down buttons.
• On larger screens, more icons fit in the hotbar.
• Block breaking animation (cracks) has been added.
• The destruction indicator (circle) is now clearer.
• Oak trees now generate with spruce instead of oak (bug).

Bug Fixes

• Leaves placed by players in Creative mode no longer decay.
• Fences no longer turn invisible when located in an empty chunk section.
