Minecraft 1.13.0 — update adding new blocks and items (dead corals, Wither Rose, Light Block, Suspicious Stew), improvements for mobs (foxes, brown mooshrooms), world generation changes, Character Creator and UI updates, plus numerous fixes and technical improvements.

Changes

• Added dead corals and drying mechanics without water.
• New item: Wither Rose — inflicts Wither effect, used for black dye.
• Added: Light Block, Structure Void, Suspicious Stew.
• 11 new note block sounds (xylophone, bell, flute, banjo, etc.).
• New mobs: foxes (snowy and red, taming, player protection), brown mooshrooms.
• Abandoned villages reintroduced.
• Character Creator with customization and free items.
• UI improvements: chat options, end credits, new resources.
• Item frames can now be placed on block tops and bottoms; improvements for maps and armor stands.
• Fish now drop XP; player height set to 1.8 blocks.
• Xbox One now uses the RenderDragon engine.
• Villagers and pillagers celebrate raid victories; pillager patrols rebalanced.

Vanilla Parity

• Villager trading now matches Java Edition (5 levels).
• Boat animation synchronized with Java Edition.
• Campfires can only be extinguished with water, like in Java Edition.

Fixes

• Fixed dozens of crashes on Android, iOS, Windows 10, and Xbox One.
• Improved world startup time and performance when opening inventory or flying with Elytra.
• Fixed achievements (“Renewable Energy”, “Map Room”, etc.).
• Fixed skin saving and chunk loading issues.
• Fixed mob, block, and item behavior bugs (arrow telekinesis, TNT explosions, potion effects, etc.).
• Fixed multiplayer, Realms sync, and split-screen issues.

Technical Changes

• Added new components and events for add-ons and scripts (push, persistent, container, etc.).
• Increased spawn radius and added new block states.
• Logs and scripting events now available during gameplay.
