Minecraft 1.3 Beta 1 Coming Soon!

Finally, the developers have started sharing news about the Minecraft: Bedrock Edition 1.3 update. The update is coming very soon, and owners of Android, Windows 10, and Xbox One devices will be the first to try out the new features through the beta version.

Tanner Pearson announced on his Twitter that work on the ocean biomes is complete but requires some tweaks.

Thanks to this, oceans in the game will be divided into different biomes with specific temperatures (normal ocean, cold ocean, warm ocean, and so on).

Meanwhile, Jason Major has started adding flora and fauna to the underwater world.

Aubrey Norris mentioned in a conversation with a player that the Bedrock version, like Java Edition, will have map markers (see below under the spoiler). And most importantly, "it will probably take a few more weeks before we can get the beta version."

This means that the long-awaited Minecraft 1.3 Beta 1 could be released by the end of this month!

The wait for the update won't be long! In addition to all the known features, a secret monster (most likely an underwater boss) and a new treasure (whether it's a regular item or some new weapon — the developers aren't saying yet. And no, it's not a trident) will be added to the game.
