Minecraft Earth Testing Is Starting Soon!
After the announcement of the new game Minecraft Earth, the developers promised that closed beta testing would begin this summer, and they kept their promise!
On the official game website, detailed information about the closed testing was published, along with a new gameplay video that you can see below.
Here are some important testing details:
- Closed testing will begin within the next two weeks on iOS; Android device owners will get access a bit later.
- The closed testing has a limit on the number of participants, and acceptance of applications primarily depends on the player's location. This is done so that the game servers can handle the load and the developers have more time to fix bugs.
- Game progress during or after testing may be reset.
- If you are accepted into the testing, you will receive an email at the address you used to register for the closed beta.
- If you are accepted into the testing, you will need to play at least once every 7 days. If you don't, your spot will be given to someone else.
What will be in the game (if we missed something, let us know in the comments):
- Player profile with levels
- Ability to change skin
- Virtual map based on the real world (taking into account your location)
- Mobs and chests with random blocks are displayed on the virtual map
- Player inventory, where all obtained blocks and mobs go
- Inventory, building, build plates, and some kind of trading area (maybe not)
- In Buildplates, you can choose ready-made builds to construct. New builds are unlocked with new levels.
- Held blocks are visible in the player's hand.
- You can enter builds.

Are you looking forward to the new Minecraft Earth game, and have you already applied for the closed testing?
