Interesting Questions and Answers from the Live Chat
Yesterday in the VK group Official Minecraft Team, for the first time, a Live Chat was held with the Russian-speaking audience of Minecraft players together with the game developers, where they answered various player questions.
The questions were answered by Cory Clemens, Minecraft community coordinator, and Inga Chamberlain, Minecraft business development program manager.
Albert Kositsyn: Will there ever be a movie about Minecraft?
Answer: Yes. As far as we know, it will be released in 2019.
Igor Fromgate: I can't exit the Minecraft Bedrock beta on Windows 10. Standard recommendations don't help.
I leave the beta testing program. I delete Minecraft. I install it again, but the beta still installs.
I tried:
- Multiple restarts
- Waiting several days after leaving the beta.
- Deleting files from the Microsoft Store cache (after that, problems start when installing the game, but the beta still installs).
In the end, the Xbox Insider Hub says I'm not a beta tester. But the beta version still installs.
How do I exit the beta? Who should I contact for help?
Answer: Unfortunately, this is a bug in the Xbox Insider Hub app. Their team is working on resolving the issue.

Answer: Because the texture is still in development.
Nikolay Korobeinikov: Will there be a MineCon in Russia?
Answer: There are no plans for MineCon in Russia yet. But since MINECON Earth is now an international event and will be broadcast via special platforms, there may be partnerships with companies in Russia to organize MINECON Earth.
Vitalik Komarov: Will there be an engine that allows installing mods that work and function like on Minecraft: Java Edition but for Android phones and tablets on Minecraft Bedrock?
Answer: We are working on new add-ons and plugins for Bedrock.
Ivan Bychkov: When will official world conversion from Java Edition to Bedrock Edition be added?
Answer: Unfortunately, this will most likely not happen, as these versions are built on different programming languages.
Max Vasnetsov: When will furniture and new food be added to Minecraft PE?
Answer: Our developers decided not to add furniture separately when players can create it themselves using their imagination - it's more interesting! As for food, we don't know yet.
Ilya Serov: When will more animals and the ability to create custom world generation be added?
Answer: Animals - when they become necessary. Generation - when smartphone capabilities are sufficient for complex tasks.
Albert Kositsyn: Will the shield and full off-hand be added in the next beta?
Answer: Our developers are still discussing the best way to implement shields, especially on mobile devices. The same goes for the off-hand.
Nastya Kot: I can't add mods, I've tried everything. What should I do?
Answer: Mods are created by the community - you should contact the player who created them to understand how to add them.
Vadim Orlov: Will there be more streams like this?
Answer: Possibly in the future.
Maxim Gonchar: Will there be signs made from different wood types?
Answer: That's a great idea, but we don't know yet.

Answer: Not known yet.

Answer: We are still working on this.

Answer: We don't know.

Answer: Yes, but it's not yet known which ones and when.

Answer: It's just an inside joke among developers, like Herobrine.

Answer: Not known yet, possibly in the future.
Alex Kind: Will there be new types of weapons, armor, blocks, and transportation?
Answer: Possibly.
Ilya Shvalyov: Will new ore, armor, and items be added?
Answer: Maybe, but we don't know for sure yet.
Pasha Mitsura: Please add volcanoes and hardcore game mode.
Answer: Hardcore will be in the next beta. Our developers are against destruction from natural effects (e.g., volcanoes) because they can destroy what players have built.
Anzilya Askhadullina: Will there be a new biome or world generation?
Answer: Not known yet.
