When will Minecraft 1.3 be released?
Very often in the comments questions appear like "Where is the Minecraft 1.3 update, because it was supposed to come out at the beginning of this year". The developers really planned to release the new version at the beginning of this year, but now they have changed that decision.
I think you know that version 1.4 was supposed to include "Update Aquatic" and it was supposed to come out in the middle of this year.
Now the developers have decided to change their plans and they will merge versions 1.3 and 1.4 into one version, i.e. the "Update Aquatic", as well as shaders, new textures - all of this will be in Minecraft 1.3!
Thus we will get new features that were planned for the next version much earlier than originally scheduled!
Expect the first beta no earlier than April-May of this year. The release version of Minecraft 1.3 for Android, iOS, Windows 10, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch will come out approximately at the beginning of summer.
