Minecraft 1.2 Beta 9 - What's New?

The developers continue to refine the "Better Together" update - Minecraft 1.2, fixing a bunch of bugs and adding new useful features. Below you can check out the main list of changes in the new version, and you can download the update on the page Minecraft 1.2 (test version).

List of changes in Minecraft 1.2 Beta 9:

• Coordinates! Enable them in the game rules settings to see your current location in the game world!
• The copy world button is now next to the delete and export world buttons (Xbox only).
• Added a spawn limit for each entity type, which only affects creepers and ghasts. So they won't spawn anymore if there's already a certain number in a 5x5 chunk area.
• On Xbox One, the button to import a custom skin has been removed (temporarily).
• The visibility status of the recipe book is now saved separately for inventory and crafting table.
• Improved performance when new entities appear.
• Improved interface in the settings window.
• Changed item slot highlighting.
• Items will no longer lose their selection when closing the keyboard.
• Fixed a crash with storage.
• Fixed a crash when a player left the game while in split-screen mode.
• Fixed a bug with skin packs.
• The Totem of Undying now protects the player from fatal falls again.
• Fixed some Xbox Live bugs.
• Fixed over 20 other bugs!

Selected items now look much nicer than before.

It's especially cool that the developers finally added the coordinates feature in Minecraft 1.2! You can enable them in the settings, in the cheats section.

After that, the current coordinates will be displayed above the chat as a small line.
