Minecraft Beta 1.9.0.3 - What's New?
A new test version Minecraft Bedrock Edition Beta 1.9.0.3 has been released, bringing the long-awaited scripting API, but only for Windows 10! ![]()
Experimental Gameplay
- Minecraft Script Engine
- Works only on Windows 10. Support for Android and Xbox will come later
- Uses the JavaScript programming language
- Scripts can be placed in behavior packs to listen and react to game events, get and modify data in components that entities have, and affect various parts of the game
Bug Fixes
- Tamed llamas no longer twitch when opening the inventory
- Fixed items in hand sometimes becoming completely white
- Fixed a rare bug where players would teleport into a boat while traveling near water
- Fixed the logo not appearing on the loading screen after pausing and resuming the game
- Players will no longer respawn in a half-dead state after dying in a bed (MCPE-39410)
- Fixed a bug where the player would spawn in the sky (MCPE-38374)
- Fixed the beacon beam texture (MCPE-38148)
- Blocks in the inventory now use textures specified in the blocks.json file again
- Optimized block synchronization between client and server
