New Menu, Scripting API, and Lamps in Minecraft!
Today in Paris, the annual major JS developer conference - DotJS - took place. Minecraft Bedrock developers also spoke there, showing an updated menu and scripting API!
Developers announced on August 6 that the game's menu interface would be updated to make it fresh and convenient for all Bedrock platforms. After thousands of options from players, a final version has been created that will be in one of the upcoming versions.

Apologies for the image quality! As you can see from the bottom image, recently opened worlds will be displayed at the bottom.

Mods using the scripting API will be created with, as many have already guessed, the JS programming language. Using the scripting API and JS, you can create mobs, custom maps, etc. (nothing was said about custom recipes, items, and blocks).

Agnes Larsson showed a screenshot with new blocks for Java Edition - lamps! They can be placed on blocks or hung from the ceiling. Nothing was said about Bedrock, but we are sure they will appear very soon!

Don't forget that the major update "Village and Pillage" has not yet been released for Bedrock; campfires, berry bushes, and foxes will also be added!
