Minecraft 26.60.28 [Beta]

The developers have released the Minecraft 26.60.28 beta on Android. This update brings 9 changes, 22 bug fixes, and technical updates for creators.

Changes

• Red and Brown Mushrooms now require central block support.
• The sky no longer flickers when a longer effect resumes after a shorter one.
• A Strider's passenger now dismounts in the direction they're facing.
• Improved cursor movement while scrolling.
• Extra Large UI returns to the default scale when disabled.
• Added Realm setup for unused subscriptions.
• Removed the remaining-days section from the Realms subscription tab.
• Member search now updates results as you type.
• Improved Marketplace pagination.

Bug Fixes

22 bugs fixed. Here's the rundown:

• Hoppers and other containers no longer lose their items when replaced with the /fill or /setblock commands.
• Redstone once again connects correctly to custom blocks.
• Fixed the silent Xbox Live sign-in hanging.
• Fixed the error dialog when declining to purchase a Marketplace pack.
• Character Creator items and skin layers are once again hidden under armor.
• Character Creator skins now use the correct texture after switching profiles.
• Fixed texture support detection on older Windows hardware.
• Sheep no longer get stuck in their grazing animation.
• Fixed a crash when loading corrupted resource packs.
• Fixed a crash when rendering too many hearts on the HUD.
• Fixed a freeze when unblocking a player on the invite screen.
• Fixed profile stats loading indefinitely on the achievements page.
• Returning from a failed server join now goes back to the "Servers" tab.

Technical Updates

• The onBreak event now fires when a custom block with a filter is destroyed.
• The EntityIsTamedComponent properties were moved to stable.
• Added the on_placed property to Jigsaw Structures.
• Fixed SoundInstance volume and fade behavior.
• The clouds component in custom dimensions now accepts any height.
• Added a dismount mode in the direction the passenger is facing.
• Added server-side ticking area limits.
• In the Editor, fixed a frame rate drop and cheat handling, and added the ability to skip tutorial steps.
• Improved split-screen performance on Switch 2.
