Minecraft 0.12.1 build 8 [Beta]

Test version Minecraft v0.12.1 alpha build 8 introduces a number of changes and fixes.

Changes

• Explosions changed.
• Many tweaks in the control setup menu.
• Nametags visible from a greater distance.
• Hitting your head on the ceiling causes a slight jump delay.
• Ghasts' hitboxes are bigger.
• Experience orbs burn in lava or fire.
• Beetroot can be found in village farms.
• Controls are smoother and more responsive, especially in scrolling panes.
• Lava now prevents fall damage.
• You can now select the player list in the game menu using the D-pad.
• All enchantments now show their level.

Fixed Bugs

• Sprint is canceled when jumping while sprinting (jump and sneak swapped in settings).
• The sneak button is less responsive than before.
• D-pad malfunction.
• Unable to collect potion after brewing.
• While moving (running or walking) using the D-pad, you cannot switch hotbar slots.
• Crafting iron/snow golem in water or lava.
• Clicking the bed and chat button causes the game to crash.
• Tapping the D-pad not only moves you but can also force you to destroy/place a block or use an item.
• Incorrect name for large chest.
• Enchantment effect disappears after exiting.
• Items now keep their enchantments when closing and reopening the game.
• Bottles no longer disappear when placed in a brewing stand.
• Potions no longer disappear when taken off a brewing stand.
• Enchantment tables work correctly in multiplayer.
• Controllers are correctly recognized if they were connected when the game starts.
• Skins now refresh when returning to the Skin Selection screen.
• Fixed an issue where some Taiwanese and Japanese characters were shared with Chinese.
• Invert Y-axis now actually works on the controller.
• Fixed a random multiplayer crash.
• Jump works again when holding the forward movement button.
• Sitting wolves won't suffocate under accumulating snow.
• The experience bar no longer overflows the toolbar.
• Android clients no longer receive trial warnings.
• Mob heads are now solid.
