Minecraft 0.12.1 build 4 [Beta]

Test version Minecraft v0.12.1 alpha build 4 for Android introduces new recipes for golden apples, quartz pillars that can be placed directionally, enchanted books in the creative inventory, improved controls, a left-handed option, and many bug fixes.

Changes

• Quartz pillars can now be placed directionally.
• Attempting to connect to old versions of the game now shows an error message.
• Added recipes for golden apple and enchanted golden apple.
• Added enchanted books to the creative inventory.
• The Stone Cutter and Crafting Table screens now close if the blocks are destroyed while the interface is open.
• Improved controls.
• Added a left-handed controls option.

Fixed Bugs

• Cannot get back to the main screen. There is a back button loop.
• Less inventory slots in 0.12.0 than in other versions.
• Multiple crafting recipes appear for the same items.
• Unable to make wolves stand up.
• Big problems with tamed animals: ocelots, wolves.
• Frequent resizing of the D-pad sets it to the smallest size regardless of the slider position.
• The world can be interacted with through the hotbar.
• No inventory only in left-handed mode.
• Crafting an enchanted golden apple yields a regular golden apple.
• Fixed a bug related to the snow golem.
• Cannot craft shovels or swords in multiplayer.
• Cannot close the inventory with the same button used to open it.
• Farmland is not destroyed when jumping on it in multiplayer.
• Pressing the inventory button did not return the player from multiple inventory screens.
• Crafting recipes were wrong in multiplayer.
• Partial blocks did not work properly in multiplayer.
• The game crashed when entering the nether repeatedly.
• When a controller is disconnected, the player continued the last action.
• Players could not drink potions in creative mode.
• Bane of Arthropods did not deal additional damage to spiders.
• The furnace displayed blocks that were not in the player's inventory.
• The sky color was very dark in flat worlds.
• Regular golden apples and enchanted golden apples stacked with each other.
