Minecraft 0.8.0 build 2

Minecraft 0.8.0 Alpha Build 2 (test build): new blocks and items have been added, minecarts introduced, the Creative inventory has been redesigned with tabs, crafting recipes adjusted, and several bugs fixed.

Changes

• Added Beetroot block.
• Added items: Beetroot Seeds and Beetroot Soup.
• Added Minecart.
• Updated Creative inventory: now with tabs.
• Leaf block side textures no longer rotate randomly.
• Rails are now crafted from 6 Iron Ingots and 1 Stick.
• Powered Rails are crafted from 6 Gold Ingots, 1 Stick, and 1 Redstone Dust.
• Animal feeding speed reduced: they now consume 5 items per second instead of 20.

Fixed Bugs

• Shooting a Bow, throwing Eggs and Snowballs, and eating no longer require standing next to a block.
• After removing the Smooth Lighting toggle, block textures no longer rotate randomly.
• Fixed displayed names of Coal Blocks, Wood, and Wooden Slabs.
• Coal Blocks received their own ID (173) and no longer conflict with Nether Bricks (112):
  • Coal Blocks are no longer duplicated in Creative inventory.
  • Coal Block can no longer be crafted from 4 Nether Bricks.
  • Nether Bricks once again have proper block and item forms.
  • Coal Blocks from the previous build are automatically converted to Nether Bricks.
• Fixed frequent invisibility of item icons in inventory.
• Fixed display of Clock and Compass in inventory.
• Fixed excessive movement speed of Zombies, Skeletons, Creepers, and Zombie Pigmen on land.
• Particles from food and broken projectiles are once again affected by gravity.
