Minecraft 0.3.2

Minecraft Alpha 0.3.2 adds new blocks, recipes, and the smelting mechanic. Players can now craft and smelt nearly all core resources. The update also fixes several bugs and improves overall stability.

Changes

• Added the Furnace for smelting ores and items.
  • Allows smelting ores and materials.
  • Crafted from Cobblestone.
• Added Saplings: Oak, Spruce, and Birch.
  • Can grow into their respective trees.
  • Sometimes drop from leaves.
• Added Glass Panes as a cheaper alternative to Glass Blocks.
  • More resource-efficient than full glass blocks.
  • Crafted from Glass Blocks.
• Added Chest (currently without full functionality, no double chests).
  • Not fully functional yet.
  • Double Chests are not available.
• Leaves can now drop saplings.
• Clay now drops 4 Clay Balls when broken.
• Gold and Iron are now obtained through smelting their ores.
• Diamonds can only be mined with an Iron Pickaxe or better.
• All ingots and diamonds can be crafted into blocks and tools.
• Clay Balls can be smelted into Bricks and crafted back into Brick Blocks.
• All basic Iron, Gold, and Diamond tools are now available.
• Items are no longer infinite in Survival mode.
• Creative inventory now includes new blocks: Ores (Coal, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Lapis), Lapis Block, Furnace, Glass Pane, Cobblestone Slab, and new Leaves.

Fixed Bugs

• Reduced texture flickering on some devices.
• Correct display of item quantities.
• Mobs now have the correct health values.
• Fixed rendering of Fences and Slabs when held in hand.
• Spruce and Birch Leaves no longer drop glitched blocks when cut with Shears.
