Minecraft 0.1.0

The very first version of Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.1.0 for phones. Imagine, it was released back in 2011! It introduced the very first blocks and ores, basic world generation, and local multiplayer for Android.

Known Issues

• The Camera exists in the game but has no functionality.
• Fire has no texture and is invisible; its spreading mechanics are unstable.

Changes

• Added basic blocks and ores: coal, iron, gold, diamond, redstone, lapis lazuli.
• New natural blocks: ice, gravel, clay, lava, obsidian, sand, sandstone.
• Stairs and slabs: oak, cobblestone, stone, sandstone.
• Doors: oak and iron.
• Vegetation: oak, birch, spruce, flowers, mushrooms, sugar cane.
• World features: mountains, hills, oceans, beaches, caves, and floating islands.
• Random world and biome generation.
• Block placing and breaking mechanics.
• Local multiplayer over Wi-Fi.
• “Copy World” button to save multiplayer worlds locally.
• Unique elements: Camera (unused), invisible bedrock, blue rose.

Technical Changes

• Added graphic options for low-end and high-end phones (Fancy Graphics and Lower Graphics Quality).
• Introduced touchscreen controls and auto-jump (officially noted in version 0.1.1).
