Minecraft 0.7.4 Alpha release for Android: new blocks, gameplay improvements, sound changes, and numerous fixes.

Changes

• Added an "External" button in the world creation edit section for IP-connecting to servers.
• Added a very faint sound when tools break, and a sound when flint and steel is used.
• Tapping and holding flint and steel on a Creeper causes the Creeper to start its explosion countdown.
• The splash text now changes every time a world is quit.
• Added support for commands, although commands are not implemented yet.
• Chiseled quartz block was added to survival mode.
• The Moon now has phases.
• Clouds are slightly darker to match the cloud color in Java Edition.
• The orbit size of the Sun and Moon around the player was increased, fixing size issues and the Sun appearing in front of clouds.
• A burp can now be heard after eating food.
• Eggs can be thrown rapidly by continuously tapping and holding the screen in both Creative and Survival.
• Each message displayed by the server now has a tag.
• Fire now has idle sounds when the player is nearby.
• Flint and steel now produces sound when used.
• Lava buckets can be used as furnace fuel, smelting up to 100 items.

Fixed Bugs

• After eating one food item, the player starts breaking blocks with food.
• The top half of a door can replace a non-air block.
• The crafting menu does not show numbers for damaged tools.
• Respawning occurs at the edge of the world.
• Players can eat extra food while moving.
• Uncraftable quartz items.
• Missing name for quartz stairs.
• No sandstone stairs in survival mode.
• Armor and health icons obstruct the sign menu.
• Armor does not drop on death.
• Signs do not drop as items.
• Cannot destroy signs.
• Crashes occur when interacting with one of two furnaces, and when attempting to break it.
• Mushroom farming does not work.
• Sign letters are erased when writing numbers or exclamation marks.

• In Creative, a milk bucket fills but then there is no empty bucket to pick up water or lava.
• Buckets are not named correctly.
• Fire does not burn fences, wooden slabs, stairs, crafting tables or chests.
• Realms does not save login data.
• Players cannot take damage from arrows while wearing armor.
• Chunks are not marked dirty by data-only changes.
• Crashes when equipping armor.
• Empty buckets can remove water blocks.
