This 0.7.2 alpha test release adds new multiplayer features, chat improvements and many bug fixes.
Known Issues
- Typing an Emoji causes the game to crash.
Changes
- Player name tags for multiplayer.
- Player list.
- Pressing "Edit" on the world selection screen now shows world seeds.
- Chat is easier to use: Unicode support.
- Slight GUI changes.
- Added more friction when flying in Creative Mode on Android.
- Added a new sound for the Zombie Pigman.
- Added symbols to the Minecraft font for use in chat.
- Multiplayer servers now show at the top of the Play menu instead of the bottom.

Java Parity
- Sleeping time is now shorter and matches Java Edition.

Fixed Bugs
- Issue loading a world with a dot at the end of the name.
- The D-pad controls are too small to play.
- Limited text entry on signs and strange behavior when typing numbers.
- Cannot type a lower-case "i" on a sign.
- Cannot type "ñ" and accented letters (á, é, í, ó, ú) on signs.
- Crash when placing a sign on floating sand.
- Letters become capitalized after a space or when deleting a character.
- Nicknames in multiplayer games are not displayed.
- Item names are displayed incorrectly.
- Cannot pick up water when using split touch controls.
- Left hand mode not working.
- Accents (like "é") appear as strange symbols in chat.
- Armor disappearing.
- No empty bucket in Creative Mode when there is a milk bucket.
- Keyboard does not disappear when receiving a hit while chatting.
- Version 0.6.0-1 had wool names (for example, "cyan wool"), but now it only shows "wool".
- When creating a world it does not create and instead opens an existing world.
- Players get stuck in chat.
- Bed spawn and armor are not preserved when a joined player disconnects.
- Major bug: random crashes.
- Typo on the Realms screen in 0.7.1.
- Armor disappearing in Wi‑Fi play.
- Cannot see the message you are typing.
- Improperly-formatted level.dat files no longer cause the game to crash on the Select World menu.
