Minecraft Alpha — an update with a new skin pack, interface and world generation changes, as well as numerous fixes.

Changes

• Added the exclusive Halloween Costumes Skin Pack.
• The LAN option was renamed from “Local Server Multiplayer” to “Broadcast to LAN”.
• Lava lakes no longer generate regardless of the world seed.

Fixeds Bugs

• Multiplayer minecarts no longer change direction unexpectedly.
• Dungeons now correctly contain a spawner and a chest.
• Fixed tooltips for items on touch devices.
• Crouching and standing are now visible in first-person view.
• Pigs are no longer invincible.
• Blocks in Survival mode no longer break instantly.
• Items now display correctly in hand while crouching.
• The second skin layer no longer distorts when crouching.
• Enchantments no longer disappear from items.
• Fixed flickering labels in the inventory.
• Fixed the position and timing of tooltips.
• Controller no longer loses functionality on the death screen.
• The Mojang logo is no longer upside down on iPhone 6 Plus.
• Fixed a bug allowing blocks to be broken with a single hit.
• The first hotbar slot item no longer duplicates when moved.
• Controller tooltip no longer overlaps the hotbar in the inventory.
• D-pad can now be used to navigate the inventory menu.
• Lakes no longer generate regardless of the world seed.
