Minecraft 0.9.2 Alpha — a release adding villager sounds, new splash screens, gameplay changes, and numerous fixes.
Changes
- Villager sounds added on iOS and Fire OS.
- 8 new loading screens added.
- Mob health increased to match the PC version.
- Fewer mobs now spawn, and old hostile ones gradually despawn.
- Updated Mojang logo.
- Strongholds now generate more often.
- Memory usage optimized and lag reduced.
- A warning appears on older devices when creating an infinite world.
- Spawner performance improved, causing less lag.
- Added a setting to limit world size (for entry-level devices).
- In the world selection menu, size is now displayed as «x.xx MB» instead of «x+exx MB».
- For example, 23.45 MB instead of «2+e01 MB».
- Removed “glossy” design on iOS 5 and iOS 6.

Fixed bugs
- Mycelium now spreads correctly.
- Fixed chunk generation near strongholds.
- Grass in deserts and savannas no longer looks rainbow-colored.
- Creepers now detonate at the right time.
- Creepers now have the correct explosion radius.
- Spiders no longer see players through solid blocks.
- Fixed mob and texture issues.
- Fixed block breaking circle size on iOS.
- Fixed crashes when loading chunks.
- Fixed crash when opening a chest or furnace that contained air (ID 0).
