Minecraft 0.9.1 Alpha — an update with numerous bug and crash fixes, as well as performance improvements.

Changes

• Mob spawners now retain the selected creature type for spawning.

• Fixed a major memory leak affecting all devices.
• Chunks now save correctly when only block lighting is changed.
• Fixed crash when tapping empty slots in the crafting grid.
• Monster eggs no longer ignore “Peaceful” difficulty.
• Entities on fire no longer cause the game to crash.
• Fixed lock-up when exiting a world.
• Fixed crash related to mob spawners.
• Fixed random crash in movement code.
• Fixed crash when closing the app.
• Fixed X-Ray glitch.
• Fixed health regeneration while sleeping.

Technical Changes

• Loading screen now appears on single-core devices as well.
• RAM usage reduced by around 10 MB.
